Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup technique that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of the lips. Using a PMU machine, pigment is softly deposited into the lips to create a tinted effect, giving them a youthful, fuller, and more even appearance. The results can range from a subtle, natural tint to a more vibrant hue, depending on the client’s preference. The process begins with a consultation to discuss the desired look and select the ideal pigment shade. After numbing the lips for comfort, the artist carefully outlines and shades the lips using a soft layering technique. The procedure takes about 2-3 hours, and healing typically occurs over 7-10 days. A touchup session is recommended after 4-8 weeks to perfect the color and ensure longevity. Lip blush results can last 2-3 years, fading gradually over time for a natural look.
